Mr. Benson Mpalo is the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of The Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) in Zambia and serves on its Board of Directors. As a distinguished corporate executive and senior legal practitioner with over 17 years of experience at the Bar, Mr. Mpalo has spearheaded strategic
planning, policy formulation, and intellectual property administration at PACRA. Mr. Mpalo specializes in intellectual property policy, company law, adjudication, and alternative dispute resolution, contributing significantly to Zambia’s evolving intellectual property framework. He holds an LLM in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center in Germany and is pursuing an MBA at Unicaf/University of East London. He is also a respected lecturer and participant in international intellectual property forums.
